All Christians are called to be apologist, to defend the faith. 1 Peter 3:15 says, "Always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with gentleness and respect,"

About Me

My background

Rev. Preston Davis developed this site to help Christians defend their faith. He is a minister at Faithful Central Bible Church.

FCBC is one of the largest churches in Southern California. He joined FCBC in 1998. In 2000 he became the Director of the New Members Ministry. He led this ministry for 10 years. The ministry taught approximately 500 new members per year.

In 2011, he became the Director of the Licensed Ministers. FCBC has sixteen staff pastors and 70 Licensed Ministers.

Rev. Davis has a BA from The King’s University. He is pursuing his Masters in Christian Apologetics at Biola University. He also attended Oxford University, in Oxford, England

My faith

Rev. Davis is a strong believer in the importance of all Christians having the ability to defend their faith, with love and gentleness. Rev. Davis says, “As God has forgiven us for our sins, we must never see ourselves as better than others.” His faith comes alive when he is teaching and serving. He believes more Christians would promote their faith if they were better able to defend their faith.

He grew up in the Church, but like many young Christians entering college he drifted away from the Church and his Christian moorings. With his life running on empty, in 1980, he rededicated his life to Christ. His life includes daily disciplines of early morning prayer, quiet time, and Bible reading.

My involvement

As we read Holy Scripture, we see relationship in the Godhead; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit live in relationship. Rev. Davis believes that all Christians should live in relationship with other Christians. There are no ‘Lone Ranger’ Christians. We are to learn from one another and support one another. This site will help you learn from others and support others. This website is committed to helping you help others.
